Our yard had some serious drainage problems and awful soil. The sod put in by the builder all but died in one half of the yard. So we decided to "fix" it. My husband and myself did it all ourselves. 11 tons of rock, 4 tons of flagstone, 8 tons of stone dust and 3 large bottles of ibuprofen. In time we will add a pergola for some shade.
