My backyard in Memphis used to be a shaded oasis with a 100 year old oak tree that was 75 ft. tall. A few years ago, straight line winds (referred to locally as Hurricane Elvis)knocked down my beautiful tree and thousands more turning my shaded oasis into a hot spot. What to do? Add a pool and tropical landscaping.
