My Little Pond

This is a pond that I made by my front door. I like the way that it looks, but since I'm no professional I do have a problem, it looses about 4 inches of water after I top it off.

There are many factors that can lead to a leaky pond. What type of liner was used in the bottom and was it 1 solid piece, or did you need to seam it together?
