I have small spaces which made me decide to do small vignettes here and there. I discovered that I loved to plant flowers and watch them grow when I had breast cancer 15 years ago. It helped me to forget for a moment or two all of the treatment I was facing, including a bone marrow transplant. Gardening has been a joy and comfort to me.
