Landscaping my Bandon Oregon new home on a shoestring (retired) budget. Besides store bought plants we have also added free beachy stuff and since we live in a coastal town we have added coastal themes throughout the garden.
We have added a small fence to keep in our small dog,the fence surrounds the whole property. I do not care to do another fence,NEVER! Now that we have completed the front yard we will move to the back yard that will be a walking path through a heavy coastal vegetated garden and a small lawn.

19 of 30: Beginning the project,moving a total of 20 yards of soil,placing railroad ties to tame the slope.
23 of 30: Adding one of many coastal items to the garden theme is this lighthouse and piling. The lighthouse is solar powered and blinks on & off at night
