		<description>The steel stud manufacturer&#039;s association &lt;b&gt;DOES NOT RECOMMEND&lt;/b&gt; mounting their tracks &lt;B&gt;DIRECTLY&lt;/b&gt; to outdoor concrete in this fashion.

It is recommended that a raised curbing 2-3 inches tall be installed upon which to place the track.  This is to prevent water and moisture from being trapped under the track &amp; corroding the track.

I know that this is a cheap &quot;Tim Allen&quot; method of quickly building an island counter.  But, this also does not allow enough clearance for a weep screed under the stucco/stone veneer.

Just cheap A$$ construction!

The CMU blocks are sturdier and bulletproof.</description>
