Griselda,Without knowing what Climate Zone you garden in, it would be hard to say. Identifying your USDA Climate Zone is easy to Google by your zip code. After you determine that, then you can start by choosing a foliage palette that you would like to work with. If you would like to do something similar to what I have done in pic #12, that would be considered a monochromatic palette and you choose plants in a limited color range of foliage and flowers colors. Hope that gives you a good spring board to start from. If nothing else your local nursery has eager staff that will help you in your area determine what plants are best suited to your climate. Happy Gardening! Christina
