I made this sphere from metal strappings that were on barrels. I put a hook in it so the sphere rotates. -
These are my FOREVER alliums. The stems are old wagon hitches or cupplings. The tops are some kind of gear. The John Deere dealer let me go through his dumpster. My husband named me DUMPSTER DOLLY. LOL -
To me, these are seedheads from the alliums. Several different types of lawnedgers were just stuck in the ground. SMILE using your imagination is fun. -
In the off season of gardening I volunteered at our local recycling center. ALOT of blue bottles came in the day after New Years. Vodka, water and wine bottles were used. -
This is an old iron ashtray and lamp stand. You can\'t see the top but it is where the lamp fit in. I put oranges on top and then grape jelly in this bottom BLUE glass bowl. -
This is several found objects. Top BLUE glass is a votive cup (holds grape jelly)and the bottom is a BLUE glass dinner plate for water. The iron pedastal is an old manican stand inverted. The other iron holder held a chafing dish. -
This is my herb area. -
Lots of stuff here. Pizza pans, broiler pans, car gears, fan plates, iron grates and ofcourse BLUE plates. This mobile spins. -
This large mailbox I use to house markers, handtools etc. This is way back in my wooded area, so I don\'t have to go up to the shed if it is in here. -
I don\'t have electricity back here just water. I put a pin hole in the bottom of the bucket then fill it with water. It slowly drips into a plate below. The sound attracts birds and then they come to bath or drink. The iron edging below was from the John Deere Dealer, old iron tines off of a manure spreader. -
This darling angel my Mom gave to me as a gift in memory of my departed little sister. She is always in my heart and in my garden. -
These are heavy iron tines off of a plow or manure spreader that I got in the John Deere dumpster. I sunk the long end in the ground and use them as edging in my wild area.
In my Wisconsin zone 4-5 yard I wanted to create some visual interest throughout all seasons, especially Winter. I also wanted something to make you smile. My gardens reflect my artsy personality. I hope you enjoy my gallery.
