La Terraza
Kat in United States
My work in progress is getting a little bit further along. I can't wait for summer vacation so that I can spend more time in the backyard and start working on the front yard.
Back Yard Covered Patio Hardscape Patio Small (Under 1,000 sq ft.)
1 of 30: Grandpa and Matt's weekend project over Easter break. I couldn't find flowerpot hangers for the fence so they made these shelves for me.
15 of 30: The Texas lilac, next to the Silverado sage is not yet in bloom. When both are in bloom it is a riot of color.

The yard looks great! The lilacs are beautiful. Are the tiles in the covered patio area set in cement or just on level ground? I need to paint my pots. They look so much nicer than plain terra cotta. I like the color combinations you used.
Thanks. that is the Silverado Sage...very hardy and drought resistant
Your lovely yard is inspiring me! What is the beautiful pink flower plant in picture 12?
Thanks. Had to find plants hardy enough for our South TX heat. I bought the bird figurine from Lowes this summer.
Wow, love all the purple! Is that a real bird in the bird bath?

Ah, sis...you are so full of "it"...hehe. But I have you to thank because after being in Michigan with you guys last summer, I had to come back and do something...so you truly inspired me to get my hands dirty and I've had so much enjoyment from it.
Now this is BEAUTIFUL! This is the little piece of Texas I have tried to capture. You must get a lot of enjoyment out of the paradise you have created and the pool must feel refreshing on those hot Texas days. Great job and keep posting pictures of your gardening adventures.
