Crow's Nest Way- Back Yard

This house was in a new development that we did the landscaping for a co-worker of my girlfriend. The deck was done by Hickory Dickory Decks and the fence was done by one of their employees. In the yard we installed a drain from teh eavestroughs so the water wouldn't cause ice in the spring and to precent a lot of water between the houses when it rains. Then we dug out for the flower beds installing trees, shrubs, and perennials to create a flower bed that would flower all summer. We used landscape fabric and a gold coloured mulch to prevent weeds. Then we Installed the rock garden. It was a corner of the property that was originally going to just be lawn but there is a sewer drain there, that without a rock garden there it would have drawn too much attention to the eye-sore. Then we poured the concrete slab and installed the flagstone in the front step, using two precast slabs (that look like natural stone) for the actual step and two peices of chocolate coloured quary stone for the sides. Then for the walkway we set the flagstone just in the grass. Because grass always dies along the side of the house in those developments we put river rock in to give some aesthetic appeal. Through the property there are 12 garden lights, two spot lights, and 5 well lights to illuminate the garden for night time enjoyment.
