Rural Back Yard in Central CA

Sheree & Randy in Exeter, CA

We began with bare ground in Spring 2008 with a 10 year plan in mind. The plans have been altered already, but the overall thought pattern is still on track. More photos to follow.

11 of 21: Some friends gave us this fountain. It was white, with cracks and in terrible condition. We filled the cracks, used concrete primer, applied metallic paint and then sealed the areas where the water would touch. We've ended up with a beautiful fountain. Fall 2010

12 of 21: We found this great face at a garden shop in Morro Bay. We positioned it behind a couple of shrubs, so that it peaks out. It looks great at night with the spotlight shining on it. Fall 2010

18 of 21: 2010 - Succulent Garden

19 of 21: 2010 - The succulent garden has come a long way. We've added multi-level plant stands. The succulents in the ground have grown quite a bit. We've created a micro-climate, because some of them are houseplants that have made it through last winters freeze.
